Want refund of wrongly paid IMPS transaction

Our branch customer Mr.B A(SB – 27110100000XXXX) had sent the IMPS to the wrong beneficiary on 21.09.2017 (Trans Amount Rs.12000) How to get back the amount?

Time it takes to refund money for failed transaction at IRCTC

Mostly it takes 2-3 days.

In case of debit cards it can take even 18 days.

In the worst if you don't received refund within 2-28 days you should contact IRCTC.

Before that first check that ticket was indeed never booked in the first places. Some people forget to see it.

Ticket is not booked and amount got deducted automatically

I had booked a ticket on IRCTC using paytm gateway using my SBI card and

it was not booked as seats was not available but amount got deducted automatically.

On IRCTC portal its showing money has been refunded back to payt but the refunded money has not been credited back to my account.
